A Summertime gesture

Ok, so I haven't been the best at keeping up with my blog...I really need to get better at that! 

It's been a crazy last couple of weeks between school getting out for my girls, a couple of business trips I went on with my hubby, and everything else in between.  I just wish some hot, sunny weather would finally show up and stay here in Oregon - 50's and rain is just not my idea of how Summer should be.  *sigh*

I did want to share with you this card I made for my daughter's 3rd grade teacher last week.  I used Close To My Heart's Boom-Di-Ada L2 Paper Packet and the Summertime set and finished off the look with a California Pizza Kitchen gift card tucked inside.  :)

The Wii Fit has arrived!

I've been incredibly busy with life the last week or so and haven't had an opportunity to post as much as I had hoped.  Sorry about that!  I'm hoping to show some new artwork designs within the next week so hang tight!

In the meantime, I wanted to mention that I picked up the new Wii Fit on Wednesday morning and LOVE it!  It is so fun and a great way to get a do-able amount of FUN exercise...especially with it raining outside.  After 2 days my calves are so sore from all the balance games I've played but I can't wait to hop on and do more!

If you have the Wii system I would definitely recommend picking up one of these if you haven't already.  Great for the family and great for easing into a fitness routine.  :)

One more card!

Another "Pam-inspired" card that I wanted to be sure to share.  :)  Hope you like it as much as the others.  It was fun to put together and I just searched my stamp sets until I found a stamp that really gave it a good message.  Hope you agree.  :)

I was on Holiday!

To the Mom's of kids and four-legged creatures, I hope you enjoyed a Happy Mother's Day weekend!

My girls bought me flowers to brighten my day and my middle daughter even cleaned up our house without being told...woohoo!  They made me Cranberry-Orange Muffins - my favorite, Mmm!  And we also put a deck on the back of our house...just in time for the weather to hit up into the 90s tomorrow.  Yipee!!

Then, my hubby had to leave on a business trip on Monday morning and I was able to go with him.  We went to Seattle and stayed in a 2 bedroom suite for the night.  Loved it!  I was able to work at the business station that was in the room and everything was so peaceful and enjoyable.  It was alot of fun.  Can't wait to go back again...it's always nice to get away sometimes, wouldn't you agree?  :)
